We continually promote and champion the bed and breakfast industry through our website, social media channels, mainstream media publications, and other targeted marketing campaigns.
Our team is comprised of professionals that have decades of experience in the bed & breakfast and Inn industry including owning, managing and promoting inns.
Eric has been passionate about bed & breakfasts and inns since he and his wife Liz first started finding bed & breakfasts to stay in, in Sandy Soule and Bernice Chesler’s guidebooks in the early 90’s. That led him to create and launch BedandBreakfast.com in 1995, which he grew to the world’s leading website for B&Bs and Inns until he sold it to Homeaway in 2010 so he could spend time with his wife and three young kids. He was so passionate about the industry that in 2013 he purchased an inn of his own just outside of Austin that he still owns.
After learning that corporate America had ruined BedandBreakfast.com and that the then owner of bnbfinder was dealing with some personal issues and needed to sell the company, Eric decided to rebuild the team, acquire bnbfinder and rebuild it from the ground up to make it the world’s best website for B&Bs and Inns.
Janice Hurley is a 17-year veteran of the B&B industry. She began her career in the B&B industry with BedandBreakfast.com in 2002 and was part of the team that moved the company to Austin, Texas. She has worked with thousands of properties around the world helping them gain exposure to the B&B traveler. She opened the first international office for the company in Marseille France and worked in growing the international exposure for the industry. From 2012-2014 she managed a 12 room inn and event center in Central Vermont and it is her passion for the industry that continues to bring her back again and again.
She is honored to be leading the team at bnbfinder as the General Manager bringing direct bookings to B&B’s & Inns around the country!
Marti Mayne has taken decades of marketing experience and dedicated it to providing marketing and public relations services for the tourism, and bed and breakfast industry with her company Maynely Marketing. Specializing in public relations, content management, social media campaigns, destination marketing and educational workshops for vacation destinations as well as the B&B industry, Marti is a regular contributor at tourism conferences and B&B workshops.
Marti Mayne has a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Bridgeport and an undergraduate degree from Middlebury College in Psychology and Sociology. She lives on Cousins Island, ME with her husband and two daughters adopted from China.
Tim Wilson is a 20-year veteran of the boutique lodging and online travel industries. He joined the bnbfinder team in September 2019 as the Director of the bnbfinder Diamond Collection. Prior to bnbfinder, Tim was a Senior Consultant with White Stone Marketing. While with White Stone Marketing, Tim worked closely with many of the most successful and highest regarded inns and B&Bs in the industry helping them optimize their marketing efforts and grow their revenue.
Before White Stone Marketing, Tim spent nearly 18 years with BedandBreakfast.com in many different roles including Director of the BedandBreakfast.com bnbfinder Diamond Collection, Director of the Online Reservations program and Director of Sales over North, Central and South America. He is committed to and passionate about this industry and takes great pride in having helped thousands of innkeepers grow their businesses.
Beau began his travels as a billing agent at Bedandbreakfast.com back in 2015 after selling his flower shop in Pflugerville Texas. A great discount, and a perk from bedandbreakfast.com, turned into a new passion for travel that has taken Beau from Austin Texas, through Mexico, to London England as he pursues his goal of immersion into every culture.
Beau has a passion for helping small business owners find success through smart business management by providing his assistance to the overworked and under-sung heroes of the travel industry.

Todd has spent the last 25 years building high performing teams in sales, marketing, and operations that has delivered results to a variety of customer segments. His job at bnbfinder is focused on supporting the team that is delivering on all aspects of the business to the bed and breakfast industry.
Outside of work Todd enjoys traveling internationally, spending time with his wife and four kids, eating at cool restaurants, and running/biking/golfing around Austin or Colorado. Todd is involved in leadership roles with nonprofit organizations and working in the mission field with his church in Central America.
Jodi is the Financial Controller for bnbfinder and brings 36 years of experience working with companies to develop and manage the financial accounting and operational systems.
She is excited to bring her skills from various industries to the bnbfinder team! Jodi likes to spend time with her 2 kids, husband, 2 dogs and 2 cats! She enjoys discovering new things to do in the Austin area and watching both college and pro football.
Nick grew up in the bed and breakfast industry. As Eric’s son, Nick was raised travelling to and talking about inns and bed and breakfasts. This turned into a passion for travel and boutique lodging. Nick continued to love travel throughout his college years at Vanderbilt University, where he earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering. He realized after graduating, however, that he enjoyed the travel space more than engineering and decided to join his father to help the same bed and breakfasts and boutique lodging industry he grew up loving so much.
Nick is excited to learn everything he can about this industry and add his own take on travel to further the success of bnbfinder as a family owned business.
Pierce has been building software professionally for nearly a decade, and is incredibly passionate about building first in class design! His experience has been focused on startups, nonprofits and client services organizations. Working with smaller businesses is what has drawn him to the B&B space. He is excited to be a part of the bnbfinder team and delivering the best product for our market.
